Butterflies In Stomach

A drop of water woke him up.
He opened up his eyes and wondered where he was.
The bright sunshine made him squint a little.
There were pink cows all over and the trees seem to be bigger as what they should be.
He stepped onto the field and smelled the beautiful flowers.
They were blue, pink, yellow, red, and even green.
He was amazed. Really amazed.
There was a little fishpond nearby and he saw the cute fishes swimming underneath the water.
The clouds looked like large marshmallows and strawberries.

Looking northwest, he saw an old house-- the kind that did not fit the beautiful scenery of the field.
He moved closely to the door. It was made of rotten wood. He tried to knock on it.
Little by little, he felt that the door becomes delicate.
Instead, he held the rust-covered knob and tried to open it.

It did.

Inside the house is a complete opposite of what it looks outside.
The walls looked as if it was just painted a couple of minutes ago.
On the leftmost wall hangs a large painting illustrating a face of a girl.
"She's attractive." he said to himself. Then he went upstairs.
The cold breeze entered the window and brushed onto him.
It felt really good and he continued to wander inside the house.

On the second floor there were two bedrooms, one on the east and one on the west.
He entered on one of the rooms. The door is color red and there was a tiny bell on its center.
He opened it and the bell made a smooth ring.
Inside, the walls are colored pink, and he noticed a fresh bunch of flowers inside a vase which gave the room a botanical aroma.
He then glanced at the wall near the door and saw the same painting he saw downstairs.
He thought that maybe, he was inside the girl's bedroom.
He just smiled and stared at the picture for a few minutes more.

He then became eager to know a little information about her.

A little cabinet beside the bed was left open.
There, he saw a family portrait.
They were five--the mother, the father, the eldest son, the younger son, and a baby girl.
He flipped the picture and saw a writing on it.
It read "Summer of 1993 with my Sweetie, Rob, Cholo, and our baby girl."
He then put the picture back inside the cabinet.

"Ouch!"
He said as Celso laughed at him.
"You were sleeping deeply."
"That hurt." He replied.
He just scratched his head and looked at his teacher.
"Class, I'd like you to meet your new classmate."

"Hi! My name's Diane. Please to meet all of you."
And then she smiled sweetly.
"Okay, you can sit there beside Miguel." said the teacher.

He couldn't believe with what he saw.
That girl sure is really familiar.
Butterflies start to fly inside his stomach.

"What a good new start."
He murmured as he moved the chair to give way to his new seatmate.
